About Traccer
Traccer was created by a team of privacy advocates, cryptographers, and engineers who believe your digital life should belong to you.
Our Story
It started with a simple problem: one of our founders was manually splitting crypto seed phrases across multiple devices — some on his phone, some on his wife's phone, notes scattered everywhere. It was the best available option, and it was terrible.
Password managers exist, but they don't solve the real problem. They store your passwords, but what happens to them when you're gone? Your family gets locked out. Your crypto becomes inaccessible. Years of digital life, lost.
We looked for a solution that was truly private, properly decentralized, and legacy-aware. It didn't exist. So we built Traccer.
We needed something that was:
The solution we needed didn't exist. So we built Traccer.
What We Believe
These aren't marketing statements. They're design decisions that shape every line of code.
Your data should belong to you — not to us, not to advertisers, not to governments. We built Traccer so we literally cannot access your information, even if we wanted to.
Central servers are central points of failure. They get breached. They get subpoenaed. They shut down. Real security means no single point of failure.
"Military-grade encryption" is marketing. Real security uses standard, audited algorithms that anyone can verify. Our crypto stack is open for inspection.
You should decide who gets what when you're gone. Not a corporation's default settings. Not a legal system that doesn't understand digital assets. You.
The Team
We're a distributed team of engineers, cryptographers, and privacy advocates. Some of us have been building decentralized systems since before it was cool. Others came from big tech and got tired of building surveillance machines.
We don't put faces on the website — not because we're hiding, but because Traccer isn't about personalities. It's about building technology that protects people.
"If you want to know us, look at what we build."
Ecosystem
Traccer is built on the TRAC Network, leveraging Holepunch's peer-to-peer technology stack — infrastructure designed for applications that need to work without central servers. We share technology, values, and a community with TRAC's broader ecosystem of privacy-focused applications.
The same technology that powers TRAC's censorship-resistant applications powers Traccer's serverless sync.
Your Infinity Protect check-ins are recorded on-chain, creating an immutable record that you were active.
Advanced users can submit Pulse transactions directly to the TRAC Network using TNK, for fully decentralized check-in verification.
Traccer's P2P infrastructure is built on the TRAC Network — powering decentralized applications without central servers. Pulse check-ins are recorded on-chain for immutable proof of life.
Try Traccer and experience what password management should have been all along — private, decentralized, and built to last beyond you.
