Duress Protection

A password for when things go wrong.

A separate password opens a decoy vault while silently alerting your emergency contacts. Protection when you need it most.

How It Works

Three layers of protection.

Panic Mode gives you options when you have none.

Decoy Vault

A convincing secondary vault with plausible content. Looks real, protects what matters. You control what appears in the decoy.

Silent Alert

Your emergency contacts are notified immediately. They know something's wrong without you saying a word. Location included if enabled.

Plausible Deniability

No way to tell from the outside which password opens which vault. Your real data stays hidden. The decoy looks identical.

Scenarios

When you need it most.

Panic Mode isn't paranoia — it's preparation.

Coerced access

Someone is forcing you to unlock your vault. Give them the panic password — they see a decoy, your contacts are alerted.

Border crossings

Required to unlock your device at customs? Panic Mode gives you something to show without revealing your actual data.

Home invasion

Intruders demanding access to your accounts? The decoy satisfies them while help is silently summoned.

High-risk travel

Business travel to regions with elevated risk? Panic Mode provides a safety net your employer can't.

Important

Setting up Panic Mode

Panic Mode is available on Infinity+ plans and above. Before it can protect you, take a few minutes to configure it properly.

Set up at least one emergency contact who will receive the silent alert. Populate your decoy vault with believable dummy data — old accounts, throwaway passwords, nothing valuable.

Test it once so you know it works. Then hope you never need it.

Upgrade to Infinity+ for Panic Mode.

Most people will never use Panic Mode. But for those who need it, nothing else comes close. It's insurance for situations where everything else has failed.
